TERMS OF USE

1) Agreement to terms

By accessing jamconsults.org, BMS pages, and Ask a CAM, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the site.

2) Who we are

“JAM Consults,” “we,” or “us” means [JAM Consults LLC]. “BMS” (Board Member Society) is a program powered by JAM Consults.

3) Educational content; no legal advice

All content (including Ask a CAM answers, events, downloads) is for educational purposes only and not legal advice. For legal advice, consult an attorney. Use of our site does not create a client, consultant, fiduciary, or attorney-client relationship.

4) Ask a CAM submissions & publishing

  • Your responsibilities: Submit only information you are allowed to share; remove PII (names, unit numbers, addresses, phone/email, attorney/vendor names).

  • Attribution & anonymity: Public posts show role + county only by default. You may optionally allow role + county display; we never publish your name or email.

  • License you grant: You grant JAM Consults a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to edit (for clarity and privacy), format, and publish your question and our answer on our platforms, including future compilations or newsletters. This license is limited to our platforms and communications about our platforms; we do not authorize third-party marketing use without your consent.

  • Editorial discretion: We may decline to publish, edit for clarity and privacy, or remove content at any time.

5) Vendor directory & sponsors

We may list vendors and sponsors. Listings do not equal endorsements or warranties. Engage vendors at your own discretion. Sponsors may pay fees; we strive to disclose paid relationships.

6) Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the site. Prohibited activities include: unlawful use; scraping or bulk harvesting; security probing; posting or transmitting malicious code; or infringing others’ rights.

7) Intellectual property

All site content, logos, and trademarks are owned by JAM Consults or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without permission except for personal, non-commercial use with attribution.

8) Payments & CE

If we offer paid courses or CE credits, additional terms will apply at checkout/registration. We do not guarantee CE provider approvals unless explicitly stated.

9) Disclaimers; limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is.” We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. JAM Consults is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site, content, or vendor relationships.

10) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold JAM Consults harmless from claims arising out of (a) your submissions; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your misuse of the site.

11) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any reason, including suspected violations of these Terms.

12) Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by Florida law. Venue and jurisdiction lie in the state and federal courts located in Brevard County unless otherwise required by law.

13) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. The “Effective date” will change. Continued use means you accept updated Terms.
